Nehemiah Response has been laid out so that a church could develop a disaster response ministry. You may also use the book as a Bible study with a small group, in an adult Bible class, or as a personal study. In Appendix I of Nehemiah Response, you will find a section specifically designed to help churches and ministries with a disaster preparedness plan and how to develop a disaster response ministry. In this section you will find some great resources and suggestions as you develop a team to put together your contingency plan. If a disaster came your way, would you be prepared? Learn how to sustain yourself during an emergency and to be ready to seize ministry opportunities that follow. In Appendix II, the personal study guide, you will find questions to stimulate your thinking for each chapter in the book and Website links to corresponding audio messages. If you choose to follow the layout of the book, you can plan to take at least twelve weeks to study the book, Nehemiah Response. |
